I can't believe I'm blogging about my last 2 days in Singapore. It makes me feel so nostalgic, and I can't wait to go back already. For me, Sunday is family time so I'm glad I got to spend the day with my sister and cousin. Trina brought us to PasarBella for lunch. It's a farmers' market in The Grandstand, Bukit Timah. It was a breath of fresh air since the place was surrounded by lush greenery. If you want a break from the bustling city, this is absolutely the place to go to.
It's evident that the place is not your typical farmers' market. I actually wondered if all the stalls had the same visual merchandiser since every single one had its own quirky charm.
There were also some shops inside the market which I super loved! I really wanted to get that deer head wall decor above but it's quite pricey *cry*
PasarBella // 200 Turf Club Road, The Grandstand
1-Altitude // 1 Raffles Place
We went to 1-Altitude at night since Trina's friend was able to get us in. 1-Altitude is the world's tallest al fresco rooftop bar. My legs were shaking when I was taking photos of the view since I'm afraid of heights lol There weren't much people that night since it was a Sunday, but it was wonderful seeing the view of the city. I can't imagine how girls could wear skimpy outfits though since it was really cold up there. I mean, look at my pale face! It was definitely a great way to end my Singapore trip.
Ramen Monster // 238 Thomson Road, #01-53, Novena Square
We didn't really do much on our last day since we had to be at the airport by 3 in the afternoon. Leica and I just had lunch nearby at Ramen Monster since Yana said that the ramen there is yummy. I ordered the set meal, consisting of Tonkotsu Ramen, 3 pieces of Gyoza and unlimited iced tea. Not bad for S$11, huh? Yana was right, the food there was delicious. Great last meal in Singapore!
What an amazing trip! I'm so glad that the hard work and sacrifice it took me to save up for this was worth it. Thank you to everyone who accommodated me. Looking forward to more adventures in Singapore! If you want to read about days 1-3, click this.
Cheers,
Michelle
