De'Longhi PrimaDonna Elite: The Future of Coffee

In the current world today, mostly everything is already digital — from banking to transportation services. I'm actually nervous our world in the future will be ran by robots! While I hope I won't be here anymore to experience the rise of Artificial Intelligence, I'll just stick to high-tech gadgets in the meantime.

Last July 20, I attended the launch of De'Longhi's latest premium coffeemaker, the PrimaDonna Elite. I initially didn't know that Italy is known for their coffee, and wished I looked for the best one during my trip to Venice. Based in Treviso, De'Longhi is an Italian manufacturer of small appliances; truly a pioneer in its own right. Their products display sheer elegance, blended with the finest world leading technology.

Before they uncovered the PrimaDonna Elite, my friend, Yana and I checked out the different line of products De'Longhi had to offer. Their Icona Vintage Collection was my favorite because of its retro, ergonomic design — an equally pleasant mix of the past and present. De'Longhi also markets low-oil fryers, multi-cookers, and ice cream makers, but their coffee machines are undoubtedly the signature products.

The event was held in Shangri-La at the Fort, and by early afternoon, everyone was already eagerly anticipating the preview, actually making the Philippines the first in Asia to launch. Film and television actress, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and De'Longhi's International Commercial Director, Paul Accornero did the honors of unveiling the PrimaDonna Elite, followed by a sample demonstration by Regional Manager, Vincent Cheng and host, Suzi Abrera. Customizing your own coffee is as easy as a simple click of a button with the machine's intuitive functions, and intelligent mechanizations.  

Patty Laurel-Filart and Inah Estrada, on the other hand, tested the coffeemaker according to their drink preferences. I was beyond amazed at what the PrimaDonna Elite was capable of! The machine utilizes a 4.3" color TFT LCD display for that instinctive, personalized touch in selecting and brewing your special tastes. You can even create your own profile for infinite possibilities of the best quality-in-cup results!

The De'Longhi Coffee Link app is probably my favorite feature of the PrimaDonna Elite because it conveniently allows you to create new beverages and recipes, and provides you with tips and suggestions on how to maintain your coffeemaker as well.
