I really love taking the train in Singapore because it's clean, fast, convenient and easy. Plus, the railway art like the one above is so cute. It reminds me of the Paris Metro.
I went with my cousin, Issa to meet up with my friends in Relish by Wild Rocket in Cluny Court. The place was easy to find, just across the Singapore Botanic Gardens. I've never been to that part of town before but the neighborhood was quite lovely. Cluny Court reminds me of The Collective here in Manila because the building mainly houses indie shops.
Issa and I split 2 burgers, the Bacon & Cheese Beef Burger and their best-seller, the Wild Rocket Beef Burger. Both were delicious, but I preferred the Bacon & Cheese Beef Burger more since it had bacon lol The fries were good too, I might add!

After lunch, Issa and I headed to Haji Lane since she hasn't been there before. Personally, I always make it a point to visit this place whenever I'm in Singapore since I like the quirky shops here, and the street is just so full of life and character.
Got my fanny pack on!

For dinner, Trina and Brian brought us to Chinatown to try this restaurant called Old Chengdu. Known for its Szechuan cuisine, it's probably the spiciest food I've ever tasted in my life!

Too bad we weren't able to stay in Singapore for Chinese New Year, I bet it would've been fun. At least Chinatown was already brimming with festive decorations when we got there so it was wonderful to experience that.
How about you? What are your Chinese New Year plans?
Cheers,
Michelle
